👋 Overview

Welcome to Learnora Kids, an educational app designed for children in Classes 1–5 following the CBSE curriculum. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you or your child uses our app.

🚫 Information We Do Not Collect

Learnora Kids does not collect any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Location data (GPS or network-based)
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Photos, camera, or microphone data
• Contacts or call logs
• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to external servers
• Any data from children without parental consent

📱 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores the following information only on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

• Child's first name and age (entered by the parent/guardian during setup)
• Selected class/grade level
• Chosen avatar emoji
• Lessons completed and stars earned
• Quiz progress and scores

You can delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the app from your device.

📡 Internet & Network Access

Learnora Kids works completely offline. The app does not require an internet connection to function and does not make any network requests to external servers. All lesson content and quiz data is bundled within the app itself.

🛡️ No Advertisements or Tracking

Learnora Kids is completely free of:

• Advertisements of any kind
• Third-party ad networks or SDKs
• Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
• Behavioural tracking or profiling
• In-app purchases

We do not use any third-party SDKs that collect user data.

👶 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Learnora Kids is designed specifically for children. We are committed to protecting children's privacy in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable child privacy laws.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• No registration or account creation is required to use the app
• The app contains no links to external websites or social media
• No in-app communication or chat features are present
• Parents/guardians can delete all app data by uninstalling the app

🇪🇺 GDPR (European Users)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we confirm that Learnora Kids processes no personal data. Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no data processing to which GDPR would apply. You have the following rights (although they are automatically satisfied as no data is collected):

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — uninstall the app
• Right to data portability
• Right to withdraw consent at any time

🔐 App Permissions

Learnora Kids requests no device permissions. The app does not access:

• Camera or microphone
• Contacts or call history
• Location services
• Storage / files (beyond its own app data)
• Notifications

🔗 Third-Party Services

Learnora Kids does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs that collect user data. The app does not use:

• Google Firebase / Analytics
• Facebook SDK
• Crashlytics or Sentry
• Any advertising network
• Social media login or sharing

🔒 Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted over the internet, the security of your data is protected by your device's own security features (screen lock, encryption, etc.).

We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a secure screen lock to protect all locally stored app data.

📝 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
